Christmas hamper ini adalah request from my dear sister for her office....di dalam hamper tersebut juga ada chocolate chips (my most sellable cookies), homemade chocolates dan marshmellow...juga homemade chocolate bentuk snowmen yang saya gubah jadi hand bouquet for christmas.....simple aje...

last couple of weeks i have been busy with my brother in law wedding. diberi mandat untuk menyiapkan hantarannya...... temanya cream & coklat...manakala hantaran pihak perempuan kepada lelaki pula hitam & putih... coklat hantaran yg dlm box itu adalah hasil tanganku...assorted chocolates...

to the couple...selamat pengantin baru...semoga berkekalan hingga akhir hayat.

Tempahan Aidil Adha

saya juga menerima tempahan hari raya aidiladha seperti cotton cheesecake, puff pastry sardin & kentang, black forest cake tetapi dihiasi oleh buah strawberry...

Homemade chocolate for hantaran

juga beberapa tempahan coklat yang dibuat sepanjang beberapa minggu yang lalu. some ada gambar some lupa nak snap coz nak rushing hantar kepada customer..ada yang assorted flavour : strawberry praline, chocolate praline, hazelnut praline, assorted nuts, wafer chocolate and milk chocolate....coklat2 nie sama ada untuk hantaran, gift @ diri sendiri...hopefully they like it...

Sepanjang beberapa minggu yang lalu dipenuhi dengan tempahan cupcakes & chocolates..entah mengapa sejak accident nie mood untuk update blog agak "kurengggg" sedikit...so layan gambar jelah....

i had been quite a while since I last update my blog...since i was involved in an accident on 17 November 2009...my car was terriblily wrecked and until now masih belum lagi siap repair...coz susah nak dapat spare part al-maklumlah keta lama...ok nak upload gambar ketaku accident...

nampak macam tak teruk tapi bila buka bonet wah...banyaknya yang rosak....sabar jelah dengan dugaan yang Allah turunkan nie.....

Full of Weekend Birthday Cakes

last weekend, my schedule was tight..i have lots of birthday cake order to fullfill and also chocolate orders to be delivered by this week..it was supposed to be a relax and enjoyable but i have a last minute birthday cake order which made it a bit "kelam-kabut" to organise my time. I have planned days earlier what to do but since there was a last minute order, (nak tolak kesian pulak)...so this is how the last minute order cake turn out to be..

i'm a bit dissapointed how it turn out. but i had try my best to do this cake..please mind the quality of the photo..nak cepat punya pasal nak gi hantar lagi, i only manage to grab my hp and not my camera..

plus, i also received a blueberry cheesecake order..but, since it was a last minute order too, i forgot to take photo...sorry..

this was a birthday cake that i have been waiting and wanting to do...Novelty cake: Snow White in the Garden(purple). The cake is strawberry cake. it was quite late i received this order but still a week away..I would usually prefer if customer order this type of cake 2/3 weeks in advance but still i manage to find the castle(setelah puas mencari) but snow white doll i just used edible image. i really hope they like the cake and for Aira, Happy Birthday from Applegreenskitchen.

Cotton cheesecake & black forest cake

in my previous entry, i mention about cotton cheesecake..well thanks to sharmi, i manage to snap & upload the photo in this entry...finally...sharmi wanted a simple cake without topping but to write "happy birthday mama".but i know it's pretty unusual for a cake without topping but having a wording on it...so i decided to do simple topping with a very simple deco of "love"...i hope sharmi...

and also a black forest cake with strawberry topping for ewan, my dear brother - in law for his birthday from both of my children to their beloved uncle.

Eggs Tarts & Cream caramel.....

I have not received egg tarts or any type of tarts order for quite sometimes. So don't know if i still have the skill or not :-)...but i hope it taste good..

My dear princess aliah, suddenly come up to the tarts and trying to steal away a piece of it...mmmmm..gosh she was quick.....

I also manage to do cream caramel for my sister as a gift to her house on saturday, but I don't have the photo for it...maybe next time...

The last week of Syawal.....

I received orders from my office mate, Kak Gee for her Open House on weekend, the last week of syawal.. A moist chocolate cake & cotton cheese cake..But unfortuneately, i forgot to snap photo for the cotton cheese cake...

She wanted a simple deco, so i just sprinkle chocolate rice....on Tuesday morning, i received a call from her and she told me that both cakes were nice but mostly people loves the cotton cheese cake...so soft & not too sweet..Thanks Kak Gee for your orders...Boleh order lagi...

Majlis Resepsi Pengantin Lelaki (Irwan & Dayah)

Majlis menyambut menantu & doa selamat telah diadakan pada 2hb Oktober 2009 di rumah ibu mertuaku, Taman Lee Ling, Kuching, Sarawak. tepat jam 8mlm ramai tetamu telah pun hadir ke majlis tersebut. Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan doa selamat oleh ahli jemaah surau.

Selesai doa selamat, para jemputan diminta menjamu selera.Di sana, makan berhidang masih lagi menjadi tradisi dan bukannya bufet seperti di semenanjung..

I learn making this cake from my sifu, kak liana. i really fell in love with this one. i copy the design for my father birthday....i think it was cute & really fun to do.....thanks to my sifu for teaching me this cake type...

Cotton cheesecake.....

due to a request from my in law, here is the recipe for cheesecake....
recipe is taken from my cook book collection...

Easy bake from Alan Ooi...

250gm cream cheese
120gm fresh milk
80gm butter
50gm plain flour
20gm corn flour
5 eggs yolk
7 eggs white
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
130gm sugar

Methods.

1. Melt cream cheese, butter & milk over double boiler. Cool down and add in egg yolk & lemon juice.

2. Beat egg white, sugar & cream of tar tar untul soft peak. Mix in method 1 and stir until well combined.

3. Add in flour & corn flour, mix lightly into the batter.

4. Pour in into a lined 9" round pan. Steam bake at 160C for 50min - 1hr (depending on your oven). Remove to cool down.
